Approved installer status is what gives us access to the longer manufacturer warranties, and it is granted on training and on installation standards rather than on how much we buy.
A new boiler or a full air conditioning system is a large single payment, and it usually arrives at a moment nobody chose. That is the honest problem with this kind of work: the need turns up before the budget does.
