Air conditioning for your home

Cool in summer, warm in winter, quiet all year. Designed and fitted by Daikin and Samsung approved installers.

The bedroom that is too hot to sleep in by June. The home office that becomes unusable at two in the afternoon. The conservatory nobody sits in for three months of the year. Those are the rooms people ring us about, and every one of them is fixable.

Modern air conditioning is a heat pump: it moves heat around rather than burning anything to make it, and it runs both ways. The same unit that cools the bedroom in July will warm it in February, usually for less than people expect. We size the system to the room rather than selling you the biggest unit we can, because an oversized unit costs more to buy, more to run, and is noisier with it.

What you get

  • Sized for the room, not guessed at

We work out the heat load of the actual room, allowing for glazing, which way it faces and how you use it.

  • Fitted tidily, with pipe runs agreed with you first

You see exactly where the pipework will run and sign it off before anyone drills a hole.

  • Heats as well as cools, so it earns its keep in winter

The same unit runs in reverse, which makes it useful in February as well as July.

  • Registered for warranty and set up before we leave

We commission the system, show you the controls, and register the manufacturer warranty in your name.

Your options

  • Wall mounted air conditioning unit installed high on a living room wall

    Wall mounted single split

One indoor unit, one outdoor unit. The usual choice for a bedroom, a home office or a living room.

    • Quickest to install
    • Quietest option indoors
    • Lowest cost per room
  • Single outdoor air conditioning condenser unit mounted beside a house wall

    Multi split

    • One outdoor unit for the whole house
    • Rooms controlled independently
    • Tidier outside
  • Slim ceiling grille of a concealed ducted air conditioning system in a hallway

    Ducted and concealed

Units hidden in a ceiling void or a cupboard, with only slim grilles visible in the room.

    • Almost invisible
    • Best for new builds and renovations
    • Needs planning at build stage

How it works

  1. Tell us the rooms and roughly what you want, online or by phone.

  2. We give you an indicative price, free and no obligation.

  3. A survey confirms unit sizing, positions and pipe routes.

  4. We install, commission and register the warranty.

What affects the price

We will not put a number on this page, because any number we invented would be wrong for your house. Every property is different: the rooms, the walls, where the outdoor unit can sensibly go. A real price needs someone to come and look. The survey is free, the quote that follows is free, and there is nothing to pay and nothing to sign until you decide to go ahead.

What moves the price on a job like this

  • How many rooms you want covered
  • How far the indoor units sit from the outdoor unit
  • Whether the pipe run can be hidden or has to be boxed in
  • Whether scaffolding or access equipment is needed
  • The unit range you choose, entry level through to premium quiet

Questions we get asked

It depends almost entirely on two things: how long you run it, and whether it was sized properly for the room. A unit that is the right size reaches the temperature you asked for and then ticks over, while an oversized one keeps starting and stopping and costs you more to do the same job. Run as a heater in winter it is usually cheaper per unit of heat than direct electric heating, because it moves heat rather than making it. We would rather talk the running cost through honestly at survey than print a figure here that would not match your house.
